How the math works Expand
  • Compute & memory = VMs × vCPUs (or GB RAM) × hourly rate × hours. 24/7 Always-On counts 730 hrs/mo; Custom Schedule is hours/day × days/month.
  • Storage = sum of each drive's GB × per-GB rate, multiplied by VM count. Backup and bandwidth are flat, shared pools.
  • Region multiplier (US East 1.00 → Australia 1.20) applies to infrastructure only — compute, memory, storage, backup, bandwidth. License costs are never region-adjusted.
  • Base cost = region-adjusted infrastructure + OS + database licensing. Support = base × support-tier percentage. Total = base + support.
  • Savings % = (provider total − Xaccel total) ÷ provider total, per month. Yearly = ×12, 3-year = ×36.
  • Migration cost estimate = 2× your Xaccel monthly total. Payback = migration cost ÷ monthly savings, rounded up to whole months.
