Archiving from Domino

Xaccel Enterprise Email Archive supports Domino server and integrates with Lotus Notes. Xaccel Enterprise Email Archive software retrieves emails from the Domino server via DIIOP or Notes Connector.

Archive Management

Choose from scheduled archiving or real-time (journal) archiving. Schedule, when to clean up emails from your Domino server(s,) for each mailbox; select when to empty Domino’s Journal Box if archiving in real-time.

Xaccel Enterprise Email Archive can retrieve Public Folders, along with users’ mailbox folders and group information, allowing the administrator to selectively choose what mailboxes and folders to archive. Create email retention policies and manage the lifecycle of corporate email data. Xaccel Enterprise Email Archive monitors server storage and critical processes and sends alert messages to the administrator. The search engine also provides an audit trail of archive access and search reports.

User Management

Xaccel Enterprise Email Archive connects to Active Directory or Domino Directory to locate users for archiving. Xaccel Enterprise Email Archive checks your directory for added users, automatically updating the archive’s user list. If a user is removed from the directory, Xaccel Enterprise Email Archive does not automatically remove that user from the archive. Instead, the archive allows the administrator to decide how to handle this situation— the administrator usually opts to simply disable archiving for that user, which ensures previously archived data remains in the archive. This user’s individual archive can be easily assigned to a current employee for management.

Xaccel Enterprise Email Archive also allows the administrator to create special ‘archive-only’ groups, which will not affect Active Directory or Domino Directory.

Xaccel Enterprise Email Archive’s next-generation built-in database is designed specifically for today’s high volume unstructured messaging environments.

Lotus Notes Integration

Xaccel Enterprise Email Archive’s web interface allows end-users to search for data as easily as they perform a web search. Xaccel Enterprise Plus Email Archive’s solution also integrates with users’ Lotus Notes client via Notes Template or MSI Installer, giving user’s access to view or restore their archived data without ever leaving their mail client. The Enterprise Plus solution also provides offline archive access, as well as access from mobile devices such as BlackBerry and PDAs.
